IMO, Lund tops the list in quality and solid construction followed by Alumacraft, then Crestliner. If you take one of each that compares with the others in weight, lenght, hull style etc, usually you will notice that Crestliner rates their boats for a smaller motor than the other two. As one other guy said, it is a Ford Vs Chevy topic..In my opinion, since I have a Crestliner, tht is my vote. Is the Lund a little smoother, Maybe?

I'm in a 20ft Lund Alaskan tiller right know and am completely satisfied, Crestliner doesn't have a boat that compares to this. On the other hand we had several 18 ft crestliner kodiak side consoles and Lund doesn't have a boat that size/layout that will perform with a 50 hp four stroke (keeps cost down).
